What areas do you service?

I service El Paso and Teller Counties in Colorado. Patients accepted on a case by case basis depending upon availbility of the provider. Please contact for details regarding your specific location. 

Do I need a referral for your services?

No referral is necessary to utilize my services. I am happy to provide care to those who can benefit from mobile foot care services.

How often should foot care services be scheduled?

The frequency of foot care services depends on individual needs, but I generally recommend every 4-8 weeks to maintain the healthiest feet possible. 

Does it matter what medications I am taking?

A foot care health assessment will be performed including health history, medical diagnoses and current medication and supplements. As a medical professional, I am able to accomodate the higher needs of the medically complex community. 

Do you accept insurance?

Unfortunately I am unable to bill insurance for your toenail services as insurances do not cover this necessary health care.  It may be possible for HSA funds to cover, and I can provide a receipt for you to utelize but cannot garuntee your specific coverages.

About us

The Nail Nurse is a Colorado Springs, Colorado-based mobile foot care service specifically tailored for the elderly and disabled for whom getting out of the house is a difficult task.  Founded by a Registered Nurse with 17+ years of experience, my mission is to provide convenient and professional foot care services that ensure the health and comfort of my clients in El Paso and Teller Counties. There is a care gap I recognized while working directly with the aging veteran population, in which adequate foot care was not provided through the VA for patients that are primarily homebound. Many of my home health patients lived alone, with family out of the area and limited resources for transportation and time to attend appointments. Additionally, various medical conditions and disabilities cause leaving home for an appointment to be of great difficulty, cause pain or discomfort, taking many hours, and generally leading to exhaustion.  They repeatedly asked for an in home foot care service, so I created one to fill the need.  I understand the challenges my clients face and strive to deliver compassionate care that makes a difference in their lives. My desire is to help bring peace of mind to concerned family members while lovingly serving the members of my community in their place of comfort. The aging population is often neglected, and I aim to be a beacon of light and support to them.
